What insurances do you take?

We accept most commercial insurances including Anthem, Blue Cross, Aetna, United, Cigna, Humana, Oscar, and Ambetter.

How are stones treated?

Stones are treated one of three ways. First, we utilize the most modern and latest shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) machine to break stones from the outside. A second option is ureteroscopy and laser lithotripsy (URS) where a telescope is placed inside the kidney or ureter with a laser to break stones. Last, we can perform percutaneous nephrostolithotomy (PCNL) where stones are broken up through a hole made in the kidney.

How much does surgery cost?

We are in network with most commercial insurances including Anthem, Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, United, Humana, Ambetter and Oscar. If you do not have insurance surgery typically costs $5,000 per treatment (this includes physician, surgery, anesthesia, equipment and facility fees).
